We are looking for a compassionate and skilled HHA, CNA or MA in Alcalde, NM to administer patient care in accordance with a physician established care plan.
This role is a 1099 contract opportunity, with care being provided at the patient’s residence. The following shifts are available: Saturday, Sunday & Thursdays, 0800 - 2000. We have the following shifts available in January and need someone who is flexible with the days M‑W, F & Sat 2000 - 0800 (effective Feb., we will need Sun, Friday and Saturday 2000 - 0800). Day shifts in Feb. 0800 - 2000, Sunday - Friday.
Once our patients are accepted into the program, there is no expiration for this benefit, which allows our team of caregivers to build lasting relationships with their patients for years to come.
You’ll get to advocate for the patients and work one‑on‑one to provide them with the care that they need.
This role will collaborate with Case Managers, and the patient’s physicians.
Offers are contingent upon passing a background check.
Responsibilities
Work with the patient in their home to provide one‑on‑one service in a comfortable and familiar setting
Assist with the patients’ activities of daily living
Light housekeeping
Meal preparation
Monitor vitals according to plan of care
Remind patient to take medication as prescribed
Maintain records and documentation of services
Communication with the patients’ family, doctors, and other prescribed individuals regarding the health and care of the patient
Minimum Qualifications
Current CPR certification
TB testing
Ability to monitor vital signs
Dependable transportation
