Join our innovative team as a Chemist at Actalent. You will be responsible for testing finished products, raw materials, in-process samples, and stability study samples. Primarily, you will focus on new ANDA products, specifically Oral Dose products. You will perform sample testing using titrations, pH measurement, specific gravity assessments, and HPLC within the Quality Control department. Responsibilities

Perform daily use of HPLC, GC, TOC, FT-IR, UV-Vis, and pH meters. Inspect supplies and ingredients used for the production of pharmaceutical products. Review SOPs and laboratory protocols for accuracy. Conduct instrument validation. Adhere to GMP and FDA guidelines. Ensure comprehensive documentation for testing protocols and executed tests. Maintain data integrity in compliance with FDA guidelines. Essential Skills

3-5+ years of HPLC/GC and Pharma/cGMP experience. Bachelor’s degree with a major in Chemistry. Good working knowledge of GMP and GDP. Excellent documentation skills, including good handwriting for laboratory notebook documentation. Additional Skills & Qualifications

Preferred 4-year pharmaceutical industry experience with hands-on GC, HPLC, FTIR, and wet chemistry (titration) experiences. Familiarity with Agilent OpenLab software. Work Environment

The position is based in a QC Lab at a pharmaceutical company specializing in oral rinse and antiseptic solutions and pharma products. You will primarily work with new ANDA products within the Oral Dose division. The work schedule is 1st shift, from 8 AM to 4 PM or 9 AM to 5 PM. The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $34.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
