Pay Range: $120,000 - $190,000

Job Summary The Advanced Practice Nurse is responsible for performing duties independently, following established and standardized procedures and methods. The APN is responsible to provide psychiatric services for patients, across the age continuum, at RWJBH locations. The RWJBH Transfer Center may assist with communications from the facility to the provider. This position may be from a remote location via computer/phone. Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time.
Certification and Licensure
Master's degree in Nursing
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Certification
APN License
Registered Professional Nurse with current NJ state license
CDS and DEA
Required
3-5 years of APN work experience in psychiatric emergency crisis management or in patient psychiatry in an emergency department hospital setting

Evenings
M-F
4pm-12am
Essential Functions
Entering admission orders for involuntary and voluntary patients
Telepsych evaluation for potential commitment
Completion of involuntary commitment paperwork
Patient presentation and discharge discussions for PESS patients
Medication order requests as needed for PESS and inpatient patients
