– As the only free‑standing psychiatric hospital in Central Kentucky, we are expanding our services and seeking an Outpatient Therapist to join our team. The position is full‑time, day shift, and offers a supportive, patient‑centered environment.

Responsibilities

Provide therapeutic group and family treatment to patients with mental and substance abuse diagnoses.

Coordinate treatment through treatment planning, the treatment team process, and utilization and review.

Conduct psychosocial assessments.

Assess, develop, and implement groups to enhance treatment of patients.

Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in medical records.

Qualifications

Education:

Master’s degree in social work or other mental health field required.

Certifications/Licensure:

Certification or licensure in social/work or mental health field required (e.g., LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, etc.). Crisis intervention training and CPR offered upon hire.

Experience:

One to two years of mental health experience required.

Other Skills:

Written and oral communication skills; case management; time management; knowledge of acute psychological disorders and principles of abnormal psychology; familiarity with follow‑up resource services; skills in conducting individual and family sessions; ability to maintain confidentiality; capacity to treat all age populations or develop skills through cross‑training; ability to summarize clinical information via written correspondence and documentation.
