Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license required

Required certifications: BLS from AHA, ACLS from AHA, PALS from AHA, TNCC or ATCN

CPI or equivalent preferred

Must maintain all certifications without grace period if possessed at time of hire

Coordinate and implement patient care specific to age of patient population served

Ensure quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner

Demonstrate performance consistent with unit standards of care

Communicate clearly and concisely appropriate to developmental age of patients

Handle emergency/crisis situations with prolonged standing and walking

Perform heavy physical effort to position, push and transfer patients or equipment

Work in clean, well-lighted, ventilated smoke-free environment

Exposure to infectious diseases and x-rays

Flexible schedule due to unexpected changes and emergencies

Must have manual dexterity and fine motor coordination
