Responsibilities
Room patients, measure and record vital signs, such as height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration.
Complete patient interview and history.
Prepare patients for examinations, tests and treatments and explain procedures. Assist with procedures as ordered by physician.
May assist in examinations, carry out treatments and special tests.
Set up equipment and prepare medical treatment rooms for patients.
Collect samples such as blood, urine and sputum from patients, and perform routine laboratory tests on samples.
Qualifications Medical Assistant High School Diploma or equivalent along with at least one of the following:
A diploma from a Medical Assistant Program
Minimum of 1 year of medical assisting experience
Military Medic training
EMT‑P (Paramedic) training
Equivalent of 1 year combined relevant medical assisting experience and education
Preferences
Medical Assistant Certification

Licensed Practical Nurse
Graduate of a school of Practical Nursing
Current Practical Nursing License in the state of Ohio
Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards
Knowledge of appropriate procedures and standards for the administration of medications and patient care aids
Compassionate, team players who are focused on providing the best care possible for their patients!
Pay Range USD $17.84 – USD $32.48 per hour.
