Overview Rehab Without Walls – Neuro Rehab is a neuro rehabilitation program that provides care in the home, community, workplace, or school.
We specialize in helping individuals with brain injury, spinal cord injury, or stroke/CVA regain functional capabilities and independence through continuum of care beyond institutional settings.
What You Will Do
Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
Regularly re‑assess the effectiveness of treatment plans; attend staffing meetings and family conferences.
Perform discharge evaluations and make appropriate recommendations for home and community safety; provide referrals and education resources.
Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physicians, service recipients and family members.
Collaborate with other disciplines to coordinate care and enhance patient outcomes.
What You Will Need
Minimum of a Master’s Degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
Valid Speech Language Pathology license in the state(s) of practice.
Current CPR Certification in accordance with state regulations.
At least one year’s work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury preferred.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Physical ability to lift 50 pounds and lift up to 100 pounds following safety procedures.
Fine motor skills, visual acuity, ability to walk/stand for extended periods.
Physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and positioning frequently.
Health screen or examination may be required prior to assignment and periodically thereafter.
Additional Job Information Salary Range: USD $50.00 – $55.00 / Hour
