Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital has proudly served residents across Southeast Michigan since 1953. With 632 beds, it is a major teaching and research hospital and home to five residency programs and a cardiology fellowship in partnership with Wayne State University School of Medicine. The hospital is verified as a Level II trauma center and accredited by the Joint Commission as a primary stroke center. It is known for clinical excellence and innovation in orthopedics, neurosciences, women’s health, heart and vascular and cancer care. Scope of Work

The Special Procedure Tech provides direct care pre, intra, and post for patients undergoing heart and/or vascular procedures. The incumbent may perform IV starts, prep patients, monitor hemodynamics, operate equipment, document procedures, manage vascular access sites, and provide patient/family education. Qualifications

Interventional Radiology requires completion of an accredited radiography program (JRCERT). Cath Lab/EP Lab requires a graduate of a Cardiovascular Technologist program, associate degree in cardiovascular technology/basic science, Paramedic license, Exercise Physiologist, or equivalent training and/or education. Clinical experience required through graduation of one of the above listed programs. 1 year of experience in EP, Cath Lab or IR required. IR requires BLS certification and active RT status upon hire, RT-CV or VI within 2 years of hire. Cath Lab requires BLS upon hire and ACLS within 6 months. Registered RCES/RCIS/RT certification, and IABP certification. EP Lab requires BLS upon hire and ACLS within 6 months. Registered RCIS/RCES. Benefits
