Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital has proudly served residents across Southeast Michigan since 1953. With 632 beds, it is a major teaching and research hospital and home to five residency programs and a cardiology fellowship in partnership with Wayne State University School of Medicine. The hospital is verified as a Level II trauma center and accredited by the Joint Commission as a primary stroke center. The Special Procedure Tech provides direct care pre, intra, and post for patients undergoing heart and/or vascular procedures. The incumbent may perform IV starts, prep patients, monitor hemodynamics, operate equipment, document procedures, manage vascular access sites, and provide patient/family education. Qualifications
Interventional Radiology requires completion of an accredited radiography program (JRCERT). Cath Lab/EP Lab requires a graduate of a Cardiovascular Technologist program, associate degree in cardiovascular technology/basic science, Paramedic license, Exercise Physiologist, or equivalent training and/or education. Clinical experience required through graduation of one of the above listed programs. 1 year of experience in EP, Cath Lab or IR required. IR requires BLS certification and active RT status upon hire, RT-CV or VI within 2 years of hire. Cath Lab requires BLS upon hire and ACLS within 6 months. Registered RCES/RCIS/RT certification, and IABP certification. EP Lab requires BLS upon hire and ACLS within 6 months. Registered RCIS/RCES. Benefits
