QUALIFICATIONS Education & Experience
Must qualify as a "Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts" (LPHA) in accordance with County Mental Health Plan regulations
A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling;
A Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage and Family Clinician (LMFT) credential or having registered as an Associate Social Worker (ASW) or Associate Marriage and Family Clinician (AMFT); and
At least 1 year of experience providing services to adolescents and their families
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Position Specific
Functions as the lead case coordinator, providing comprehensive, strength-based, culturally competent, flexible, effective, quality mental health services, including psychotherapeutic interventions, to eligible at-risk children, youth, and families
Provides services to assigned children, youth, and families in the home, office, school, or other community-based settings
Coordinates and facilitates initial intake meeting with consumers meeting agency and County timelines and expectations
Responsible for the overall assessment, development, and implementation of Assessment Client Plans and Re-Assessment and Re-Authorization Client Plans
Provides and documents all Medi-Cal eligible services provided, including but not limited to assessment, plan development, individual therapy, family therapy, collateral, rehabilitation, case management, and crisis intervention
Ensures every family has an individualized safety plan that maximizes the use of natural supports and community based resources
Attends all internal psychiatric appointments with consumers as scheduled
Attends all staff meetings, clinical supervision, and consultation meetings as scheduled
Provides services to children and youth involved in the CPS, Juvenile Justice, and CCMS systems meeting all County requirements as listed in program scope
Participates in the agency 24 hour family support on-call programs, if required
Participates in utilization, accreditation, peer review process as assigned
Responsible for meeting all outcomes as documented in Employee Development Plan
Models and communicates appropriate positive attitudes toward The agency’s Mission, Vision, and Values and program outcomes
Attends all required trainings and is proficient in providing probation specific practices, including Functional Family Therapy and The Seven Challenges
Works collaboratively with all internal programs, departments, and staff to provide support as needed
Maintains positive relationships with consumers and customers
Agency Specific
Performs all duties in a manner consistent with the principles and values of agency, while adhering to applicable professional codes of ethics, the agency’s policies and procedures, contractor requirements, and regulatory requirements.
Model and communicate appropriate positive attitudes toward the agency’s Mission, Vision, and Values
Work collaboratively with all agency programs and staff to provide support as needed
Utilize and maintain calendar with all work-related details in order to manage time effectively and share calendar information with coworkers
Participate in on-going training to expand and develop professional skills
Perform other duties as necessary for the agency, as assigned
Employment At-Will Employment at the Agency is terminable at-will, which means that employment may be terminated at any time, without cause or reason, by either the employee or the Agency. In addition the Agency may also demote, layoff, transfer or reassign employees at any time at its sole discretion without cause or reason.

Starting Salary Range Clinician I: $75,000 - $100,000 Annually DOE
