All About Ultrasound is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Janesville Hospital and Trauma Center. This full‑time position offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for professional growth.
Location & Work Hours
Location: Janesville Hospital and Trauma Center
Pay Range: $35.85 – $53.77 per hour
Hours per week: 40 hours (12 p.m.–8 p.m.), with call rotations during nights and weekends
Shift differential: PM shift 15% of base pay, up to $4.50 per hour; Night shift 20% of base pay, up to $6.00 per hour
Job Duties
Prepare exam room and ultrasound equipment to conduct sonography examinations in accordance with infectious disease, sterilization, and patient safety protocols.
Assume responsibility for patient safety during sonographic examinations.
Review patient medical history and supporting clinical information, including contraindications, patient prep, and limitations to the sonography exam.
Assist with medical record/image sharing as necessary.
Use proper patient positioning tools, devices, equipment adjustment, and ergonomically correct scanning techniques to ensure patient comfort and safety.
Requirements
Graduate of an accredited School of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience preferred; new graduates considered.
ARDMS or ARRT sonography registered or registry eligible.
Registry eligible partners must become registered within 12 months of hire (AB, OB, RVT, BR, MSK, PS).
All partners must be registered in a second clinical specialty within 2 years of hire, as approved by department leadership.
Approved CPR or BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
