This is an adolescent unit. Must be comfortable and highly experienced. Must be able to start on 1/19 – no exceptions.
Works with the multidisciplinary team to identify individual and group needs and interventions. Utilizes the nursing process to meet the needs of patients requiring complex nursing care. Provides clinical supervision of MHW’s to ensure safe and therapeutic delivery of care. The Co‑Occurring Disorders Inpatient Treatment Program offers 24‑hour care in a safe and nurturing environment that promotes healing and ongoing recovery.
Our treatment approach focuses on helping patients develop and maintain sobriety while managing co‑occurring psychiatric issues such as depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, etc. The Co‑Occurring Disorders treatment team specializes in high‑quality intervention, medically assisted drug and alcohol withdrawal, stabilization, and education needed for a successful recovery.
Requirements
Must have recent adolescent experience in the last 3 months – required
5 years of RN experience required (inpatient psych experience must be within the last 3 months; LTC will not be accepted)
Adolescent Psych/Behavioral Health experience and age groups must be listed on the resume
Must be willing to float to other units and take charge shifts
Will consider first‑time travelers
Certification & Licensure BLS
State License Requirements (Vermont)
Must have an active license at time of submission
