The Opportunity ConvenientMD is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. As a vital clinical team member, you will play an integral role in providing high-quality care to our patients, working alongside medical providers, and contributing to a supportive, collaborative environment. Your Impact
Patient Care & Triage:
Conduct comprehensive patient triage by taking vital signs, documenting medical history, and performing observational examinations to identify immediate healthcare needs.
Assist with patient exams, ensuring all necessary equipment and documentation are prepared while supporting providers during testing and procedures.
Clinical Procedures:
Perform diagnostic and testing procedures, including vision, hearing, drug screens, breath alcohol testing, spirometry, and more.
Execute point‑of‑care testing such as strep, flu, RSV, SARS‑CoV‑2, glucose, lipid panel, and urinalysis.
Provide cardiac and airway management, including ECGs, AED use, nebulizer treatments, and oxygen administration.
Deliver wound care assessments, immunizations, and medication administration per federal and state regulations.
Patient Engagement & Documentation:
Assist with patient inquiries, communicate test results, and explain medication or therapy plans.
Maintain accurate electronic medical records, documenting patient histories and treatment details.
Observe and report changes in patients’ conditions, taking necessary action as needed.
Clinic Operations:
Ensure medical instruments and equipment are clean, sterilized, and maintained per organizational policies.
Maintain a stocked and sterile workspace, supporting smooth clinic operations.
Collaboration with Clinical Team:
Work closely with other members of the clinical team to ensure seamless coordination of patient care.
Communicate effectively and efficiently with providers and other healthcare professionals to relay patient information and updates.
Welcome and support the training of new team clinic members.
Required Availability
Work 12‑hour shifts in consecutive and/or non‑consecutive days, with required Saturday or Sunday shifts as follows:
Full‑time: 3 shifts per week, at least 4 shifts per month on a weekend.
Part‑time: 2 shifts per week, at least 2 shifts per month on a weekend.
Per diem: 4 shifts per month, ideally one shift each week.
Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to work at least three other ConvenientMD locations within a one‑hour travel distance from your primary clinic.
Travel for training shifts may occur outside of your primary clinic within a one‑hour commute.
Who You Are
Education:
High school diploma or GED required.
Certification & Experience:
State‑licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with prior experience placing and monitoring IVs. For Maine and New Hampshire only, IV certification required.
BLS Certification:
American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification. CPR, ACLS, or online‑only classes not accepted.

Bonus Qualification:
1–2 years of patient triage experience in an urgent care or emergency department preferred.
Massachusetts Pay Transparency Hourly Pay Range for this Position: $29.43 – $43.78 USD. Final compensation is determined at the conclusion of the interview process.
