Location : Morrison Healthcare at MUSC Columbia Downtown
Setting : Inpatient/outpatient position within a primarily cardiac-focused hospital.
Schedule : Full-time, Monday–Friday with rotating weekend/holiday coverage as needed.
Requirement : Must be registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration or eligible.
Position Details : This role supports a cardiac-centered patient population and may include coverage in CICU, cardiac acute care units, the Heart Failure outpatient clinic, and the LVAD program. The position offers a mix of high-acuity clinical care and opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration with cardiology, nursing, and care management teams. Ideal for someone who enjoys working with complex cardiac cases and contributing to both inpatient and outpatient continuity of care.
Salary : $61,500 – $70,000, based on a PayScale.

Job Summary We are seeking a Clinical Dietitian FT to join our Nutrition Team in an acute care medical center in Columbia, SC.
Key Responsibilities
Provides medical nutrition therapy including nutrition assessment, diet modification, nutrition education, and intervention for the patient population.
Follows all guidelines as outlined within the Company Diet Manual and the Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual.
Complies with all regulatory standards to include federal, state, and accrediting agencies while adhering to facility confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and patient rights policies.
Trains and mentors patient services staff and interns as applicable.
Participates in patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs.
Qualifications
Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing/Credentialing Board, in states where required.
One (1) year of hospital experience, preferred.
Possess the necessary skills to effectively utilize Microsoft Office applications, electronic medical record & diet office systems, and nutrient analysis programming.
