Respiratory Care Practitioner - Central Core
Join Providence Health & Services as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in the Central Core at Sacred Heart Medical Center, Spokane, WA.
Description The Department-based Respiratory Therapist is expected to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of contemporary Respiratory Therapy principles. She/He will collaborate with Physicians and Nurses in planning and implementing the patient plan of care. Completion of the department orientation program as well as unit-specific orientation is mandatory. The individual assists the Physician with the delivery and direction of Respiratory Therapy, operating and maintaining complex ventilatory support systems, monitoring and resuscitation devices, performing respiratory care procedures and patient assessments, diagnostic procedures, and providing oxygen therapy. Other patient care functions may also be performed as qualified.
Shift Details Per-diem, Variable shift.
Required Qualifications
Coursework/Training: Education to meet certification, license, or registration requirement.
Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire.
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
