Responsibilities
Perform mammography imaging and related procedures as prescribed by physicians under the direction of a radiologist with little supervision.
Operate mammography imaging equipment and related procedures.
Required Criteria
Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (A.R.R.T.) in mammography.
Licensure by New York State Department of Health.
Knowledge of radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, typically obtained by graduating from a Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation (A.C.A.) accredited program or equivalent.
Analytical skills to evaluate and perform mammography procedures.
Organizational skills to plan and implement multiple procedures simultaneously and coordinate work within the unit and department.
Preferred Criteria
Technologist is competent in mammography and outpatient general X‑ray.
Schedule & Location This is a full‑time Monday‑through‑Friday position with both day and one evening per week (flexible). The role is located at 35 S. Riverside Avenue, Croton‑on‑Hudson, NY in upper Westchester County.
Benefits & Compensation Salary Range: $52.90 – $63.35 per hour.
