Licensed Practical Nurse – The Pavilion Health Center
We are currently seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services. The LPN will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide quality nursing care within our Southern North Carolina facility.
Job Description
Assist in the direction of nursing services for a unit/hall under the Nursing Practice Act and RN supervision.
Delegate duties to professional nurses and non‑professional nursing personnel, and monitor performance under RN supervision.
Observe patients for symptoms, reactions, and general physical/mental condition, noting potential adverse changes.
Assist with notifying attending physicians of emergencies and patient deaths, implementing changes in orders as instructed by physicians.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
High school graduate.
Licensed Practical Nurse; graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
Current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing; submit proof of license renewal every other year.
Willingness to work as charge nurse and as needed during emergencies.
Ability to provide quality nursing care, follow doctors’ orders, and have a genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
CPR certified yearly.
Attendance at in‑service training and staff meetings as required.
Sign‑On Bonus: $3,500 available.*
