Registered Nurse (RN), Swain ED - PRN
Schedule: 12‑hour shifts, PRN‑as needed.
Location: Swain Community Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health®.
Responsibilities
Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs.
Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
Provide care appropriate to patient condition and age.
Perform timely and accurate documentation of medical necessity in the record.
Complete and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
Perform timely and accurate QI assessments.
Qualifications
Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of North Carolina or from a compact state.
AHA Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
AHA ACLS and PALS certifications required within six months of hire.
One year of RN experience preferred.
Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment.
