Expanded Duties Dental Assistant
(EDDA) to join our busy family practice full‑time.
We are a fast‑paced, energetic, and cohesive team led by a fantastic dentist who has been with our practice for over ten years. Our ideal
EDDA

Schedule Monday‑Thursday 8 am‑5 pm, Friday 8 am‑2 pm, 1 Saturday per month 8 am‑2 pm (arrival 7:45 am all days)
Compensation $25‑$30 hr, plus bonus opportunities

Responsibilities
Assist the dentist chairside
Genuinely welcome patients into the practice—make them feel at ease
Prepare patients for treatment, ensuring the highest level of care and comfort are achieved
A thorough review and update of the patient's health history
Set up and break down of operatories
Select and set up instruments, equipment, and supplies as needed for each operatory daily
Present and enter treatment plans into Denticon
Provide post‑operative instructions
Sterilization of instruments according to regulations
Stock supplies, order supplies, and any additional duties as necessary
EDDA duties—placing fillings, fabricating temporary crowns and seating crowns
Qualifications
2+ years of chairside dental assisting experience
2+ years of experience as an Expanded Duty Dental Assistant
X‑Ray Certification required
Active CPR/BLS Certification required
EDDA Certification is preferred
Certified Dental Assistant preferred
Denticon experience is a plus but is not required
