Overview Seeking a licensed plumber who thrives on job security, top pay, excellent benefits, and career advancement within a well‑known national brand. Pay ranges from $80,000 to $120,000 annually with flexible work schedules and comprehensive benefits. Plumbers perform a wide range of services, including faucet repairs, water heater installations, and plumbing system replacements.

Responsibilities

Respond promptly to customer service calls, conduct thorough inspections, accurately diagnose issues, provide effective solutions and estimates, and close service sales.

With the necessary licensing, install and repair plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, bathtubs, water heaters, garbage disposal units, dishwashers, and water softeners.

Perform sewer and drain cleaning services in diverse environments (basements, roofs, confined spaces, close quarters) and restore work sites to pre‑job conditions.

Prepare invoices, total costs of services/ products, collect payment, and explain the Roto-Rooter guarantee both in writing and on a provided smartphone.

Move efficiently to the next service call after payment collection.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license.

State plumbing license required.

Three or more years of repair and service plumbing experience, with a proven track record in selling plumbing products and services.

Full knowledge of plumbing systems essential for performing duties.

Plumbers must obtain Excavation Certification through Competent Person Training (OSHA requirement) within the first year of employment. Journeyman license or equivalent certification as specified by the state in which the branch operates and performs service. Unlicensed plumbers will be expected to obtain certification as soon as they become eligible, if necessary by state law.

Strong written and oral communication skills for effective customer service; excellent interpersonal skills in client and co‑worker relations.
