Job Summary
Join Baylor Scott and White Medical Center – Lake Pointe as a Registered Nurse and be part of something better. This full‑time night position is in the Level III NICU. The unit has 17 beds (13 private) and provides care to neonates. The team has 1:2 and 1:3 patient ratios depending on acuity, and a 24‑hour on‑site NNP. The role offers cross‑training to the New Family Unit, Labor & Delivery, and Well‑Baby Nursery, and involvement in improvement projects and shared governance.
Responsibilities
Deliver nursing care to neonates in a fast‑paced Year‑3 NICU environment.
Utilize evidence‑based practice and participate in unit‑based council activities.
Cross‑train with the New Family Unit, Labor & Delivery, and Well‑Baby Nursery as needed.
Ensure high‑acuity patient safety and quality outcomes through collaboration and shared governance.
Qualifications
Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
Minimum 2 years of neonatal or critical‑care nursing experience.
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
