Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring BLS and ACLS certifications and on-call responsibilities.
Responsibilities
Work in the Operating Room (Surgery Unit) of a hospital setting
Day shifts with scheduled hours typically 07:00–19:30
Weekly work hours range from 36 to 40 including call shifts
Overnight call rotation approximately every 1-2 weeks, weekend call approximately every 4-5th weekend
Holiday call rotation included
Must comply with the facility's dress and appearance policy; jeans, halter-tops, shorts, sleeveless shirts, or facial earrings are not allowed
Must participate in call rotations including weekends and holidays
Required to accurately record work and meal break times
COVID vaccination card may be requested for consideration
Requirements
Current and active RN license
At least 1 year of Operating Room RN experience required
BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
ACLS certification required
NIHSS certification preferred
