Urgent Care - Casual
Duluth, MN (Multiple Locations)
Responsibilities
Cover Urgent Care shifts in a variety of settings.
Shifts are 12, 8, or 4 hours with flexible scheduling; calendar set 3‑6 months in advance.
Provide team‑based care working with Credentialed Practitioners.
Manage acute walk‑in cases: respiratory illness, minor injuries (laceration repair, I&D, foreign body removal), musculoskeletal injuries requiring radiology and splinting, non‑life‑threatening trauma, and work‑related injuries.
Perform suturing and splinting as needed.
Support patients with up to 70 seen per day.
Receive excellent support from specialists and ancillary services.
Work collaboratively with a collegial, experienced staff.
Requirements
BC/BE in Family Practice or Emergency Medicine.
Current BLS certification.
Strong critical thinking, interpersonal, and multitasking skills.
Leadership skills or interest is a plus.
Location
Northeastern Minnesota; 150 miles north of Minneapolis/St. Paul.
Service area population: 460,000.
Duluth population: 90,000.
