This position will be based in our Denville, NJ location. The work schedule is 4 days (off Wednesdays).**Responsibilities:*** Take medical histories.* Accompany physicians into the patient examination room to transcribe a history and physical exam.* List all proper diagnoses and symptoms, as well as follow up instructions and prescriptions as dictated by the physician.* Transcribe patient orders including laboratory tests, radiology tests, medications, etc.* Document any procedures performed by the physician.**Requirements*** At least 1 year of working in a medical office, preferably urology.* Competence in Microsoft applications.* Knowledgeable in medical terminology and medical records.* Knowledge of EMR Systems.INDHP**Astera is here to help patients overcome cancer and blood diseases, and improve their quality of life.
