Med/Surg Telemetry RN – 12 Hour Night Shift
Location Jackson, MS
Assignment Duration This is a 13‑week contract position.
Schedule 12‑hour night shifts.
Job Description We are seeking an experienced Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate has at least two years of solid Med/Telemetry experience. The work primarily involves a patient‑to‑nurse ratio of 1:3 (maximum 1:4 in certain instances). Candidates may be required to cover at least one holiday during the assignment.
Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care, monitoring vital signs and telemetry.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Educate patients and families regarding care plans and health maintenance.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
ACLS (AHA) certification.
BLS (AHA) certification.
NIHSS certification.
Current RN License.
