Pay Range : Base pay $45.00/hr – $55.00/hr
Job Type : Full Time (offering tuition reimbursement), Part Time, or PRN positions available.
To plan, organize, develop, and direct Occupational Therapy Services in the facility in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, and as may be directed by the Administrator, to ensure that the highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times.
Job Functions
Conduct regular screening of residents to determine the best intervention or treatment for each individual patient.
Evaluate residents to inform and develop treatment plans; establish short‑ and long‑term goals and methods to achieve those goals.
Interpret and communicate evaluation findings, treatment plans, and recommendations to residents, families/caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members.
Establish individual resident therapy schedules in cooperation with other team members.
Conduct therapy according to established treatment plans and ensure proper documentation and billing of occupational therapy services.
Perform all other duties as assigned and as required to effectively treat patients.
Oversee COTA as needed, ensuring that all documentation and treatments are carried out with clinical excellence and that proper reimbursement practices are followed.
Education & Qualifications
Degree in Occupational Therapy.
MUST have an active Occupational Therapy license in the practicing state(s).
Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain current licensure and certification.
