Job Summary:
As the Orthopedic Radiologic Technologist, you will be pivotal in producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions. Your day-to-day duties include performing imaging examinations such as X‑rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs while ensuring a positive patient experience through direct interaction.
Responsibilities
Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
Perform procedures to ensure quality patient care in accordance with Radiologist’s expectations and protocols.
Display knowledge and comply with National Patient Safety goals.
Support and report any identified compliance matters.
Participate in hospital and department quality assurance programs to ensure safety and satisfaction.
Maintain professional development and education for technical competency.
Qualifications
Associate of Science in Radiologic Technology or a related field, upon hire.
Completion of an accredited program by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT), upon hire.
Medical Radiographer (KY), upon hire.
Registered Technologist Radiography (ARRT), upon hire, or equivalent credential.
Registered Technologist Bone Densitometry, upon hire.
Registered Technologist Computed Tomography, upon hire.
Registered Technologist Cardio Interventional Radiography, upon hire.
Registered Technologist Mammography, upon hire.
Registered Technologist Magnetic Resonance Imaging, upon hire.
Registered Technologist Nuclear Medicine Technology, upon hire.
Registered Technologist Quality Management, upon hire.
Registered Technologist Radiation Therapy, upon hire.
Registered Technologist Vascular Interventional Radiology, upon hire.
Registered Technologist Vascular Sonography, upon hire.
