Overview
Certified Surgical Technologist Full Time Rotate at Valley Baptist Health System. The Surgical Technologist demonstrates basic knowledge and skills in the scrub role to assist during surgical procedures. This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus. Responsibilities
Maintain aseptic technique and prepare required equipment, instrumentation, and sterile supplies for assigned cases. Scrub and pass instruments and equipment during surgical procedures; pull cases as needed; break down cases at the end of procedures. Set up operating room and supplies for day/following day’s schedule. Be available for call on assigned schedule as required by unit need. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Education: Required: Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited surgical technology program. Preferred: Associate degree. Experience: Preferred: 1 year. Certifications: Required: AHA BLS, Surgical Technologist certification. Vaccination and Employment Policies
