Job Summary and Responsibilities As a
Registered Nurse
on our
Pulmonary and General Medicine Acute Care Unit , you will be responsible for delivering excellence in patient care by assessing, formulating nursing diagnoses, establishing goals, planning and implementing interventions, and evaluating patient care outcomes. With the staff nurse’s professional practice, you are responsible for participating in and maintaining quality, cost-effectiveness, and guest relations.
28‑bed Med/Surg/Telemetry Acute Care Unit with a focus on Pulmonology.
Specializing in the care of adult and geriatric patients with various pulmonary and medical diagnoses, including digestive, pancreatic, cardiac, and immuno‑suppressed disorders.
The floor has the capability to provide continuous pulse oximetry monitoring for each patient.

Job Requirements Education and Licensure
Degree in Nursing from an accredited program college, or university
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) within 2 years from date of hire
Active Registered Nurse license in good standing with the Texas Board of Nursing
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Experience
At least one (1) year of RN experience
