Counseling and Mental Health Center (CMHC) is an accredited on‑campus mental health facility dedicated to supporting the well‑being of UT Austin students. CMHC offers a range of services, including assessment and referral, group and individual counseling, psychiatry and well‑being services.
University Health Services (UHS) is an accredited on‑campus medical facility dedicated to addressing the various healthcare needs of UT Austin students. UHS provides comprehensive services, including general medical care, public health education and specialty clinics.
The Longhorn Wellness Center (LWC) is the health promotion unit servicing University Health Services and Counseling and Mental Health Center. Staff focuses on educating students about priority college health issues by hosting workshops and events, creating new tools, and collaborating with the campus community to enhance overall well‑being.

Purpose Serve as an accounting and financial reporting analyst for Health and Well‑Being department and the programs that fall under this portfolio.
Essential Functions As a member of the Finance team, the Financial Analyst will be responsible for a broad range of financial and accounting duties, including:
Master the University’s financial systems and manage departmental accounts
Serve as a resource to departmental staff regarding budgets and accounting
Record or approve financial transactions
Prepare financial reports from multiple data sources
Prepare and monitor budgets, manage account balances, and maintain account structures and coding schemes
Assist with business contracting
Provide support to the Finance Director as assigned
Perform related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, information systems, or related field
Five (5) years experience in finance or accounting
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Experience with data management
Experience with financial reporting
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication skills to serve as a resource for staff on budget and accounting issues
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with university financial systems (accounting, purchasing, payroll, etc.) and cost center coding
Experience with VBA in Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft OneDrive, PowerBI, Box
Interest in applying artificial intelligence to financial reporting
Salary Range $50,000 + depending on qualifications
Working Conditions 100% on‑site.
Works around general office equipment, repetitive motion with keyboard, some bending, lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds, anything over with assistance.
