Sign-on Bonus:
This position is sign–on bonus eligible and qualifies for a $15,000 sign–on bonus, provided the candidate meets eligibility requirements!
Where You Will Work:
Atrium Cleveland Intensive Care Unit consists of 18 beds serving both medical and surgical critically ill patients. Our unit is fast‑paced and requires strong critical‑thinking abilities, organization and prioritization, as well as thorough assessment skills. The ICU nurse partners with our Intensivist team and other disciplines to manage invasive and non‑invasive ventilation, hemodynamic monitoring, titratable infusions, pronation of ventilated patients, trauma, temporary pacemakers and targeted temperature management. Our team encourages professional development through participation in shared governance, continuing education and professional certification. The ideal candidate for our team is resourceful, flexible and appreciates autonomy.
We’re Looking For:
Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
ICU experience preferred
ACLS and NIHSS certificate recommended within 6 months of hire
What You’ll Do:
As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
Using evidence‑based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
