Part‑time Instructor – Tutoring and Learning Center (Anatomy, Physiology & Chemistry)
Wake Technical Community College is seeking adjunct faculty to provide tutorial support in Anatomy, Physiology, and Chemistry. Apply to join our team.

Responsibilities
Provide tutoring activities to increase learning achievements in curriculum and continuing education areas.
Create and maintain publications and other communications projects that benefit the Learning Center.
Ensure proper procedures for time cards and registration.
Perform administrative duties, such as record keeping and meeting auditing requirements.
Offer virtual tutoring services when the college is closed due to inclement weather or other emergencies.
Stay abreast of current trends in tutoring through professional development.
Conduct workshops as needed.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Demonstrated ability and commitment to tutor major and/or non‑major level courses in Anatomy, Physiology, or Chemistry.
Ability to utilize a variety of instructional techniques and methods.
Ability to be self‑directed, organized, task‑ and detail‑oriented.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.
Full‑time or part‑time teaching and/or tutoring experience.
Ability to tutor major and/or non‑major level courses in Anatomy, Physiology, or Chemistry.
Self‑directed, organized, task‑ and detail‑oriented.
Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and Saturdays.
College transcripts must be uploaded with the application or submitted to the HR office prior to consideration for interview.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Anatomy, Physiology, or Chemistry.
One year college‑level teaching and/or tutoring experience.
