Dental Assistant - Full Time Position
Location: Dublin Dental Center
Hours: Monday 7:30 am–7 pm, Tuesday 7:30 am–7 pm, Wednesday 7:30 am–5 pm
Salary: $20–$24 /hr (based on experience)

Responsibilities
Greet and welcome patients, sustain patient comfort, and provide appropriate education throughout treatment.
Conduct a thorough review of the patient’s health history to ensure quality care.
Take and process x‑rays and other diagnostics (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography, etc.).
Provide superior chairside assistance (four‑handed dentistry) during a wide variety of procedures in accordance with the state dental practice act.
Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and record keeping.
Prepare the treatment room with strict adherence to safety protocols, following OSHA & CDC recommendations.
Manage supply and inventory levels and place and expedite orders as needed.
Partner with providers and the team to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize office workflow.

Minimum Qualifications
Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
Experience in a fast‑paced, customer‑centric environment.
Required state certification for dental assistants and/or x‑ray certification (if mandated).
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Exposure to PHI, HIPAA training, and commitment to protect PHI and maintain data safeguards.
Preferred Experience
1+ years of experience in a dental setting.
Experience with Dentrix or comparable dental software.
Dental assisting school certification.
Physical Requirements
Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation; accommodations can be made for disabilities.
Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
Ability to lift and carry up to 45 lb at times.
Available to attend virtual or in‑person training sessions periodically during the year.
All new hires for dental office positions must complete a tuberculosis (TB) test unless not applicable (e.g., FL & TN).
