AlliedTravelCareers is working with Fusion Medical Staffing to find a qualified Physical Therapist (PT) for a 13‑week travel assignment in Spokane, Washington (zip 99208).

Required Qualifications
Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations
Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
Preferred Qualifications
Doctorate degree in physical therapy
Physical Therapy experience (New grads are welcome to apply)
Other certifications or licenses as required for the position
Summary The Physical Therapist evaluates, diagnoses, and treats patients with physical impairments to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life. Working in hospitals, clinics, and rehabilitation centers, the role creates personalized, evidence‑based treatment plans using exercise and manual therapy.
Essential Work Functions
Evaluate patients’ conditions using standardized tests, clinical examinations, and history.
Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals.
Implement therapy plans with various techniques to improve mobility and reduce pain.
Operate and maintain specialized physical therapy equipment and modalities.
Assess progress, adjust plans, and document outcomes in the medical record.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other professionals.
Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention.
Maintain a safe treatment environment following infection control and safety protocols.
Engage in quality assurance initiatives and professional development activities.
Collaborate in discharge planning for smooth transitions.
Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice.
Required Essential Skills
Critical thinking, service excellence, and strong interpersonal communication.
Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and PC skills.
Physical capability to move equipment (50‑100 lbs) and maintain balance.
Interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse personnel.
Technical/motor skills for fine manipulation and procedure assistance.
Mental resilience for frequent public contact and meeting deadlines.
Visual acuity and effective communication.
