If so, we want you on our team as a Direct Support Professional (DSP)!
The NEEDS Center is a company dedicated to providing support services to adults with developmental disabilities in our group residence homes, helping them live as independently as possible.
We currently have openings for 7 Direct Support Professionals who will assist and support the adults in our care. With compassion, creativity, and a commitment to personalized care, you'll engage in activities that promote skill-building and enhance overall quality of life.
Hourly rate is $15.00-$16.00 per hour.
Most openings are 2nd shift, overnights, and weekends.
Locations are in Clay County, Duval County and Orange Park, FL.
Responsibilities
Assisting and supporting individuals in daily routines.
Providing hands‑on personal care to adults with developmental disabilities.
Implementing clinical, educational and vocational programs.
Observing and recording data for programs established in Individual and Behavior support plans.
Participating with other team members to create a therapeutic environment that includes regular community membership.
Qualifications
Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
Empathy and a willingness to help adults with developmental disabilities.
Experience with behavior management preferred.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
Ability to work as part of a diverse team.
