Pediatric Radiology The Driscoll Health System is recruiting a BC/BE Pediatric Radiologist in Corpus Christi and our NEW LOCATION in Edinburg, Texas, -- Driscoll Children’s Hospital Rio Grande Valley! This is a NEW opportunity! The ideal candidate, MD/DO, will be Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology and have completed a fellowship in Pediatric Radiology. A CAQ in Pediatric Radiology is desired but not mandatory. About Driscoll Children’s Hospital Driscoll Children’s Hospital is a 243‑bed pediatric tertiary care center with more than 30 medical and surgical specialties offering care throughout South Texas, including Corpus Christi, the Rio Grande Valley, Victoria, and Laredo. Through the vision and generosity of its founder, Clara Driscoll, Driscoll Children’s Hospital opened in 1953, becoming the first, and remains the only, free‑standing children’s hospital in South Texas.
Driscoll Children’s Hospital (DCH) is one part of the financially strong, Driscoll Health System (DHS) which includes a multibillion‑dollar foundation, two, free‑standing Children’s Hospitals (one in Corpus Christi, and the new facility in Edinburg, Texas), a Health Plan, an insurance company, and a transport team. The flagship, 190‑bed hospital, opened in 1953 and has grown to provide tertiary and quaternary services to the lower 34 Texas counties. Our catchment area is the size of South Carolina and provides the full gamut of pediatric services to a growing population of over 2 million. Our unmatched population growth is fueled by immigration, an exceptionally high birth rate, low average population age, and job growth (including Oracle, Tesla, Apple, the US Government, and Google to name a few).

Through the vision and generosity of its founder, Clara Driscoll, Driscoll Children’s Hospital opened in Corpus Christi, Texas in 1953. The new location will further the mission to provide medical care to all the children of South Texas by providing the following pediatric services: pediatric specialists, acute inpatient and outpatient surgery, emergency services, Level III NICU, PICU, rehabilitation, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, imaging, laboratory, and child life program.
