SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST – PART TIME
River Pointe of Trinity Healthcare and Rehabilitation – Greater Huntsville, TX
Location: Greater Huntsville, TX Area. This part‑time position serves both inpatient (short‑term and long‑term care) and outpatient services. We recently launched the Rhythmic Abilities Care program, a quality improvement initiative focused on residents with dementia.
Responsibilities
Screen and evaluate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders, developing appropriate care plans.
Deliver rehabilitative treatment, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
Evaluate treatment outcomes, modify services based on patient evaluation, and make referrals as needed.
Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers.
Generate comprehensive discharge summaries in adherence to regulatory and clinical requirements.
Qualifications
Active speech‑language pathology license.
Open to SLPs at all experience levels.
