Mount Carmel Dublin is an innovative medical ambulatory campus designed to meet the needs of the Dublin community and surrounding suburbs. Services include a 24‑bay emergency department, 60 acute inpatient beds, 4 operating rooms, Level 1 cardiac capability, advanced imaging, and other outpatient testing. An attached medical office building offers primary care, neurology, cardiology, vascular, and other independent specialists.
Position Purpose The Cardiovascular Sonographer performs echocardiography and vascular diagnostic testing as per Accreditation Guidelines, reports preliminary findings for physician interpretation, and operates within the organization’s standards, policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Requirements / Qualifications
Registered by the ARDMS as an RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) or RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) or registered by CCI as an RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) or RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist)
BLS certification required
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography preferred
Minimum one (1) year of cardiovascular imaging experience preferred
