Certified Medical Assistant – Endocrinology – Halifax – Days – Full-Time
Location: 125 Florida Memorial Pkwy, New Smyrna Beach, FL 32168.

Responsibilities
Provide clinical intake as per policy and procedures, including screenings, history taking, vital signs, and medication reconciliation.
Assist with minor procedures associated with the specialty and ensure accurate documentation at the time of service or results.
Maintain efficient office flow by preparing patients and equipment for treatment, initiating testing, and documenting results in the practice’s designated system.
Provide whole care to patients during office visits, including intake, test results, screenings, labs, medication administration, and closure of care gaps.
Support staff teamwork by assisting patients, visitors, and co‑workers as needed.
Educate patients regarding tests, medications, and diet, providing clear and accurate instructions.
Other duties as assigned, travel as needed to fulfill staffing needs and support clinic operations.
Ensure compliance with organizational standards and keep policies and procedures up to date.
Maintain education requirements for the position and demonstrate competency through annual clinical competencies and written tests.
Qualification Requirements
High School Graduate or equivalent required.
Basic Life Support – CPR Cert (BLS) – RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement.
Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Clinical Medical Assistant Certification (CMAC), National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA), Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA), or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) accredited by the EV issuing body.
Pay Range $17.11 – $27.38 per hour.
