About the Role We need a

MST Therapist

at our Kansas City Office in

Overland Park, KS . You will provide evidence‑based therapeutic interventions to youth, their families, communities, and other key members. You may need to drive within a 90‑minute radius from

CSI Kansas City Office

and travel to surrounding counties:

Wyandotte, Doniphan, Atchison, Leavenworth, Douglas, Johnson, Miami .

What is Multisystemic Therapy (MST)? Multisystemic Therapy typically targets chronic, violent, or substance‑abusing juvenile offenders ages 12–17. Its home‑based therapy design helps overcome barriers, increases family retention, limits therapists to a maximum of six cases, and enhances behavior‑change maintenance.

What You’ll Do

Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals and families to identify presenting problems, strengths, and systemic factors.

Develop individualized treatment plans based on MST principles.

Provide direct therapeutic interventions to at‑risk youth and families, and collaborate with key members.

Implement crisis management strategies for immediate safety concerns.

Participate in individual and group supervision to enhance clinical skills and ensure MST fidelity.

Maintain accurate documentation of client progress, session notes, treatment plans, and outcomes.

Collaborate with other professionals and service providers involved in the client ecosystem.

Annual Salary $50,000–55,000

Qualifications

Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field. Bachelor's degree considered with experience.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to client homes.

Must reside within a 90‑minute travel time from the service area.

Ability to work independently and manage a caseload under program requirements.

Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, and ability to formulate comprehensive treatment plans.

Demonstrated commitment to cultural competence and trauma‑informed practice.
