Schedule: Monday – Friday 10:30 am – 7:00 pm, call required

Responsibilities
Facilitate the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures.
Prepare surgical operating suite with sterile drapes, solutions, and appropriate sterile and non‑sterile instruments and supplies.
Hand required and requested instruments and supplies to the surgeon during surgery.
Assist with preparing, transporting, positioning and draping patients.
Maintain instruments in an organized manner and monitor/track instrument counts throughout procedures.
Requirements
BLS Provider obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire or transfer date. Acceptable sources: American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
One or more of the following required:
NCCT Surgical Tech credential obtained prior to hire or transfer date.
NBSTSA Surgical Tech credential obtained within 6 months (180 days) of hire or transfer date.
Education
High‑school diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate’s degree/technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job‑specific experience.
Additional Preferences 3 years Ophthalmology experience preferred.
