Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Acute Rehab Unit night shift role requiring BLS certification and Epic EMR experience.
Responsibilities
Position is in an Acute Rehab Unit within a hospital setting
Works primarily with rehabilitation patients requiring acute or long-term care
Night shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am
May float to other units onsite within skill set or to locations within 40 miles if needed
Uses Epic EMR
Weekend and holiday shifts are expected
Floating may be required based on unit needs
Team-oriented work environment with multidisciplinary support
All vaccine requirements, including COVID, are subject to current policies and may not be required
Local candidates are accepted but at a reduced rate based on facility-specific radius rules
Requirements
Active RN license with Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start
BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred
Minimum of 2 years of acute care or long-term care experience required
At least 3-4 prior travel assignments as a traveler required
Med/Surg experience required
Must provide a US Social Security Number and US address
Nails must be short (less than 1/4 inch) and no artificial or acrylic nails allowed
