A skilled Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide essential support within an elementary school environment located in Lakeville, MN. This contract position spans the current school year and offers the flexibility of a hybrid or virtual work model. The role focuses on serving a caseload of 38 students from PreK through 8th grade, working four days per week.
Key responsibilities include conducting speech and language evaluations, implementing therapy sessions, and utilizing AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices to support student communication needs. The position requires strong expertise in pediatric speech‑language pathology within school and healthcare settings, with an emphasis on delivering high‑quality teletherapy when applicable.
Qualifications And Desired Experience
Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech‑Language Pathology
Experience working with pediatric populations in school and healthcare environments
Ability to conduct thorough speech and language evaluations
Familiarity with AAC devices and strategies to support diverse communication needs
Experience with teletherapy and hybrid delivery models
Skilled in managing a caseload across a range of grade levels, from PreK to 8th grade
Experience as an SLPA and understanding of supporting roles is a plus
Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
