American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with at least 2 years of recent OR experience and an active KY or compact RN license. Responsibilities
Position is in a hospital operating room setting Day shifts from 6:30am to 7:00pm Thirteen-week contract assignment Patient population consists of surgical patients in an acute care setting No local travelers will be accepted; candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility Candidates must wear attire in accordance with the operating room dress code All RNs are required to complete orientation and any necessary facility training modules Team-based environment with collaboration among surgical staff Requirements
Active KY or compact RN license is required Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the operating room specialty Current AHA BLS certification required and must not expire during assignment NIHSS certification required prior to start CPI training is required for all RNs and may be completed onsite Candidates must provide a valid US Social Security Number Candidates must be fully vaccinated for influenza and COVID-19 No adverse actions (“HITS”) on nursing license will be accepted Gaps in work history of 3 months or more must be explained Benefits
