Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources . PBMHR has an opening for an office-based Clinician to provide services at a mental health center in Richton, MS. The position works with adults with a serious mental illness diagnosis and is a full‑time Monday through Friday role from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with no on‑call duties. County: Perry City: Richton Status: Regular Full Time Education: Master’s Degree For 50 years, Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources has served individuals throughout the Pine Belt. Through an extensive continuum of care, we strive to enable adults with serious mental illnesses, children with serious emotional disturbances, and individuals with an addiction or developmental disability to live, work, learn, and participate fully in their communities. Our eighteen county service area includes Amite, Franklin, Forrest, Hancock, Harrison, Jones, Lamar, Lawrence, Covington, Greene, Jeff Davis, Marion, Pearl River, Perry, Pike, Stone, Walthall and Wayne Counties. Requirements

Master’s degree in a behavioral health field (required). Clinical license preferred (must be obtained or DMH Therapist certification within 90 days of hire). Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record. Work Experience & Skills

Behavioral health experience preferred. Excellent communication skills required. Behavioral health internship required. Independent work ability. Responsibilities

Ask appropriate questions as required by the clinical intake documentation to elicit information. Assist consumers in establishing realistic therapeutic goals appropriate to the problems presented. Participate in team staffing and function as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team. Provide clinical therapy services and emergency services to consumers and their families. Provide written record of consumer’s progress through the therapeutic process. Use information obtained in clinical observations to suggest diagnosis and severity of condition.
