About The Position TravelNurseSource is working with AMN Healthcare to find a qualified PCU RN in Morgantown, West Virginia, 26506. This outstanding Progressive Care Unit (PCU) is looking for the right RN to join their team of compassionate and driven health care professionals. Job Responsibilities • Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. • Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and unit protocols. • Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to the interdisciplinary team. • Teach and support patients and families on pain management, wound care, and discharge instructions. • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record.
Required Qualifications • Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid state license (compact accepted). • Minimum 2 years of experience in a progressive or step‑down unit. • Certifications: ACLS‑AHA and BLS‑AHA (current). • Valid SSN and DOB for background verification. • Ability to provide two references covering full employment history.
