Position Summary Provides direct patient care using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice for behavioral health patients. Collaborates with the interprofessional team to support a safe, therapeutic environment and high-quality outcomes.
Responsibilities
Performs plan-of-care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities.
Documents patient care provided in a timely and accurate manner.
Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physicians, patients, and families.
Assists patients with activities of daily living (hygiene, elimination, nutrition, ambulation).
Education & Qualifications Associate's degree in nursing – required.
Bachelor's degree in nursing – preferred.
License: Current RN to practice in the state of KY.
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS).
