Registered Nurse, Day Stay, Baptist Downtown

Registered Nurse, Day Stay, Baptist Downtown Registered Nurse in the Day Stay unit at Baptist Jacksonville, a fast‑paced peri‑operative unit specialized in Pre‑Op and Phase 2 recovery. This is a PRN position.

Responsibilities:

Assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation of care and supervision of supportive personnel; coordination of ancillary services.

Include patients and significant others/families in developing individualized plan of care.

Coordinate and prepare assigned room/case; assess patient care needs and anticipate case needs.

Manage patient volume of 50–60 cases per day.

Education required:

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.

Education preferred:

Master’s Degree in Nursing.

Experience:

2–3 years Surgical Services Experience.

License and Certification:

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.

Conscious Sedation Certification preferred.

Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) preferred.

Licensed Registered Nurse required.
