Job Summary Applies the nursing process to plan and implement patient care, including education and planning across the continuum. Effectively communicates patient/family information to the healthcare team, collaborates in establishing goals, evaluates progress, and engages in learning activities per the Board of Nursing standards.
SHIFT RN – Relief Shift Leader (RSL) – Night Shift (7 p – 7 a) with a minimum of 4 weekend shifts per 6‑week schedule.

Key Responsibilities
Collaborate in establishing the plan of care and coordinate and implement care delivery while anticipating patient needs.
Analyze comprehensive patient information to determine nursing diagnoses.
Continuously evaluate patient progress toward goals and apply interventions to ensure effective outcomes.
Employ strategies to promote health and a safe environment.
Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Technical Capabilities
Care Planning (Novice): Anticipate resource needs, prioritize tasks, schedule activities, meet deadlines, and organize work across responsibilities.
Nursing Patient Education (Novice): Provide patient education in practical applications of moderate difficulty.
Nursing Patient Assessment & Evaluation (Novice): Assess and evaluate patients, conduct primary interviews and examinations, recognize problems, and contact the primary provider or team.
Evidence‑Based Practice (Novice): Search for evidence to answer clinical questions under direction.

Work Experience Relevant work experience in a cardiac or step‑down setting.
Experience Level 1 year of experience.
Education Graduate of an approved discipline‑specific program.
