Emergency Department Technician, Nights, Baptist South Baptist Medical Center is seeking to add an Emergency Department Technician to our Emergency Department at South. This is a full-time night shift opportunity.

Responsibilities

Assisting RNs in the Emergency Department with the care of patients who have healthcare needs, including activities of daily living.

Maintaining a safe environment.

Collecting lab specimens.

Intake and Output monitoring.

Electronic medical record documentation.

Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Education Required High School Diploma/GED

Education Preferred Associate's Degree

Experience

Less than 1 year Hospital Experience Required

Less than 1 year Transport Medicine Setting Experience Required

Basic Life Support (BLS) Required

Licensed Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Required

Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant Required
