Registered Nurse Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Oklahoma or compact state)
Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience (6 months Med/Surg experience required at minimum)
Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)Ability to provide patient care across the lifespan: infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
Med/Surg RN Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive nursing care plans for medical-surgical patients
Conduct patient assessments, nursing diagnoses, and ongoing evaluations
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high standards of patient care
Provide leadership and guidance to ancillary and clinical support staff
Maintain accurate documentation and uphold professional nursing standards
Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to a diverse population
